What is SCOOT!?
SCOOT! is our annual school holiday program. It’s for primary age kids, and usually runs during the July school holidays. Each year we pick a theme and design a week-long program full of fun and interactive bible teaching and games. There’s even an elective options where kids choose their own adventure: craft, sport, music, drama or dance. It won’t break the budget ($5 per day or $20 for the week) and we hope it serves families during a busy time.
The SCOOT! School of Leadership, a training program for future SCOOT! leaders, will run again this year. Last year the 16 participants learnt from the Bible what it means to be a responsible and godly leader, and helped prepare and serve morning tea to the kids at SCOOT! each day.
